We have not published any posts in a long time! We've been very busy writing, writing and writing.
This term your children have written some very nice stories. Ask them to show you theirs. We've been having trouble with the app so we cannot publish them here. Sorry!

Schools song contest (2)

Today we are writing about the school song contest. First we are going to tell you what is the school song contest. The school song contest is a contest where a lot of schools participate. All the schools have to make a song and a video. Our song says that we have to be happy always and we need some help. These days we prepare some things for the video like recording and doing the song. At music class we are recording the song in groups. In P.E we are going to do the choreography for the video. The deadline to deliver the video is in March.

And this is our song:

And I need music cause I want to move my waist.

Schools Song Contest!

The school song contest is a music contest.

Many schools of Barcelona

record a video singing a song but we invent all the lyrics. This is very interesting and the classes are a lot of fun.

First, we vote the song. Our song is “Can’t Stop The Feeling” because this song won the voting.  

Then, all the class together, invented the lyrics of the song.

And this is the song:

Really, the song is a lot of fun!

After that, we chose different places for recording and making the video.

Finally, we make the choreography.

Doing this is a lot of fun and is a very good experience for learning English.

Hi! My name is Júlia. I’m from Spain and I live in Barcelona. I’m eleven years old. I’m a student at Vedruna Immaculada. My favourite subject is P.E. and my favourite sport is basketball. There are 4 people in my family. They are my sister Carla, my mother Noe and my father Xavi. My father is a constructor and many times works at the basketball euroleague and my mother is a nurse.

I would like to be a basketball player because it is my favourite sport.

I’m thin and tall. I have a long brown hair.

I’m very funny  because I like doing jokes.

My hobbies are playing basketball and drawing urban sketches. I love doing sports but I hate volleyball. I like going shopping and I don’t like waiting. My favourite songs are “COME” and “NO MONEY”.

I would like to be a basketball player because I like playing basketball .

I‘m medium  sized. I’m plump. My eyes are brown my hair is brown, short and curly .

My hobby is playing basketball, table tennis and reading. I like playing “hay day” because it's a game for the mobile .

I don’t have any pets. My favorite food is apple. My favorite drink is
